Did you know there are 33 Fraternities on UD's Campus? You’ll never believe the versatility between all of the Fraternities. Ranging in interests, there is no way you won’t find a fraternity on campus that suits your needs. From social to majors to hobbies, if you want to belong to something much greater than you, Greek Life is where it is at.

SOCIAL

            When told of Greek Life on campus, everyone thinks of the social fraternities on campus. Those include the Panhellenic and Interfraternity organizations. Fraternities and Sororities are not co-ed which creates either a sisterly or brotherly bond with your fellow Greek members. Kelsey Harbert joined the newest Sorority on campus, Sigma Kappa, because she “wanted to get out of [her] comfort zone and ended up meeting some great people.” You can’t go wrong when joining a social fraternity.

ACADEMIC

            There are over a dozen academic fraternities to join on campus. They range from Major Honor Fraternities to Service Fraternities. There is an Eagle Scout fraternity, a music fraternity, an engineering fraternity, the list can go on. Emily Bolen, a Junior in Alpha Phi Omega says, “come for the service, stay for the fellowship, and leave as friends.” A lot of the fraternities on campus have a potential new member process just like social fraternities. Almost all academic fraternities are also co-ed as well. If you're not looking for as big of a commitment as a social fraternity - money wise, social wise, etc - I guarantee one of the academic fraternities will be perfect for you. And if not, one of the amazing things about the University of Dayton is that you can create your own clubs on campus.
